WWJD about Separation of Church and Everything Else!

By John Sykes

Yesterday I posted Freedom of religion isn't just about thought and speech which included this quote in which the chief rabbi for Great Britain warned about a new intolerance being imposed in the name of tolerance:

"I share a real concern that the attempt to impose the current prevailing template of equality and discrimination on religious organizations is an erosion of religious liberty," Lord Sacks told a House of Commons committee in June. "We are beginning to move back to where we came in in the 17th century—a whole lot of people on the Mayflower leaving to find religious freedom elsewhere."

Today, in State Bans Outdoor Baptism, we read of yet another successful act barring Christian activity and thought expressed as a baptism in a Washington state park. This continues a long line of intolerance against anything Christian as exemplified is the other posts shown below.

The progressive statists hope to soon have us huddled in our churches, afraid to in any way demonstrate the Christian liberty the Lord has given us in the sacrifice of His Son.

What our forefathers intended as protection from the state has been turned on its ear into protection for the state from the unruly We the People and our terrifying insistence that we are free. We are seen to be the biggest threat to the progressive march.

Is it time to get very vocal, maybe even civilly disobedient? Is it not time to put our best activists into the political realm to help conduct the art of government?

Or do we just fade away …?

What would Jesus do?
